Pete Mead

Pete is a fifth-generation Wyoming native born in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He grew up working on the family’s ranch outside of Woods Landing where he learned the ropes for both running cattle and preserving land. He attended the University of Wyoming earning a BS in Physiology while also high jumping for UW’s track and field team. During his time at the university, he took a management role on the family ranch and worked on everything from fencing to overseeing a large river preservation project. He received his Wyoming real estate license in 2023 and moved to Sheridan shortly after.

Pete has a love for his family and friends and enjoys working beside them. His family has a long history in Wyoming starting with his great-grandfather Peter Hansen homesteading in Jackson Hole. His family has worked as both ranchers and public servants including his parents serving in Wyoming politics. Working with his family he’s gained knowledge and expertise on land, ranching and the western lifestyle.

Growing up in Wyoming, Pete gained a love and appreciation for everything outdoors. When he’s not working he loves camping, fishing, skiing or talking anything Wyoming. Pete has a passion for working hard and getting things done the right way, making the Chase Brothers team a perfect fit.
