Brit Ellerman
Brit Ellerman grew up with a deep connection to the Western way of life, coming from a family with strong roots in ranching and rodeo. His parents, Jay, a five-time NFR Qualifier, Tammy, a champion team roper and experienced real estate broker and older sister Taya, champion roper as well, instilled in him the values of hard work and dedication.
After graduating from the University of Wyoming in 2015 on a rodeo team scholarship, Brit pursued professional rodeo while starting several businesses under Ellerman Brands. These ventures, including Texas Saddlery, Ellerman Marketing, C Slash Bits and Spurs and others have helped to broaden his understanding of business, sales and people.
In 2024, Brit married Makenna Balkenbush, a native of Sheridan, Wyoming. Makenna, who also rodeos professionally and runs her own financial advising and insurance business, shares Brit’s deep connection to the Western lifestyle. Together they continue to be involved in the community and help with her family ranch in Wyoming and Montana.
With a diverse background in ranching, rodeo, and business, Brit brings a practical and thoughtful approach to real estate. He values building strong relationships, listening to clients’ needs, and using both traditional and innovative strategies to help them achieve their goals. Brit still maintains his businesses, rodeos, and holds real estate licenses in Colorado, Wyoming, and Arizona.
