Karson R. Ewing

Karson Ewing was born and raised in Douglas, Wyoming — a fifth-generation Wyoming resident who grew up on a working ranch. From early on, he was in the saddle moving cattle, mending fence, and learning the land from the ground up. He also grew up hunting, chasing trophy elk across Wyoming’s breaks and backcountry, developing a genuine understanding of what makes ground valuable not just agriculturally, but as a recreational and hunting asset. For Karson, Wyoming land isn’t an industry — it’s home.

He started rodeoing at a young age and carried that competitive discipline through his college career at the University of Wyoming, where he earned his degree in Business Management. While at UW, he earned his Wyoming real estate license and took on property management work, gaining firsthand experience in transactions and client relationships before ever joining a brokerage.

Karson also built ventures in the technology space during college and earned a minor in Blockchain, reflecting an entrepreneurial mindset and a genuine curiosity about how innovation is reshaping agriculture, land management, and investment. He’s watched ranching evolve over his lifetime and understands both the timeless fundamentals — productive ground, water rights, carrying capacity — and where the next generation of ranch ownership is headed.

When he’s not working, he’s in the Wyoming backcountry — hunting, fishing, snowboarding, or simply in the mountains earning respect for the land and wildlife.

Karson joined Chase Brothers because the firm’s values match his own: reputation over shortcuts, relationships over transactions, and a deep respect for what Wyoming land means to the people who own it.
